How often is it necessary to grind knives and adjust shear bars? This is the main question in one of the reports of the journal “Lohnunternehmen” in its July 2010 edition. In 2008, Busatis started a series of studies in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Dresden (Germany).

How often is it necessary to grind knives and adjust shear bars?

This was one question being dealt with in a study by the University of Applied Sciences Dresden. Further, it was considered how often grinding is necessary at all because extensive grinding may save fuel, but more knives are needed. In this regard, authors of the University of Applied Sciences Dresden cooperated with the Busatis company to carry out comprehensive studies.

The journal "Lohnunternehmen" reports on this study in its July 2010 edition.
